Ideal Sunday in Somerset?
An early morning coffee and pastry from 28 Market Place in Somerton, and a walk along the ridge of the Polden Way. Look out for the cherry trees in July! Then a cheeky pint at the Halfway House in Pitney – if you can get in!

Favourite Somerset shopping destination or shop?
We’ve recently discovered a brilliant fruit and veg stall, in an old hut by Rocky Mountain Nurseries near Wells which is open on Thursdays and Saturdays, and it’s become a weekly event. Bring lots of cash!

Hidden Somerset gem?
The White Spring, Glastonbury. We stumbled across this place before a walk up the Tor.

It’s a well house built on a leyline with candlelit pools which are said to have healing powers. Full of atmosphere and mystery. A proper Somerset experience!

Favourite part of Somerset
Travelling back in time to the Blackdown Hills. Full of old tumbledown barns, endless rolling hills and peaceful lanes with some great pubs.

Favourite thing to do in Somerset
The Green Scythe Fair near Langport is a beautiful festival celebrating the best of Somerset. Originally a scything competition, it now has loads of music, traditional crafts and general good vibes with lots of cider.

Favourite natural beauty spot in Somerset
Tarr Steps, Exmoor.

Favourite bit of architecture in Somerset
The Chapter House at Wells Cathedral.
