The Byre has a subtle Nordic / Scandi theme and is an ideal hygge hideout in the winter and a perfect destination for couples to enjoy an outside lifestyle in the summer.

The Byre is a standalone bijou one bedroom cottage with its own 100sqm private terrace and fantastic views across the valley. As the name suggests, the building was a former cow shed that has been completely rebuilt and refurbished. Over the summer of 2020, we introduced a subtle Nordic / Scandi theme for the furniture and lighting. If you’re interested in design, you’ll probably recognise some iconic and contemporary pieces from the likes of: Alvaro Artek; Marimekko; Arne Jacobson; Louis Poulson; Hay; Hikki; Swedese – the Lamino armchair, even Ikea! We’ve combined this with some local pieces, such as sheepskins from Glastonbury, cow hides from a neighbouring farm and festival prints from Worthy Farm. The Byre is adults only (maximum two), no children, and pets are welcome.
